The Moroccan defender aged 25yrs, who is a Muslim,create a bit quite of a controversies on the online community with her appearance on Sunday 20th July 2023 with their debut match against South Korea. 

The Moroccan Football star was on her Football outfit which she cover her hair with hijab and according to some sports media it was said that she's the first female Muslim football player from the muslim community to actually wear the hijab since the FIFA authorised the use of head coverings in 2014 for religious purposes.

A twitter user @rmsalih thinks otherwise where he categorically stated that,what the player was wearing was not hijab, as hijab is meant to cover the whole body without exposing other part of the body and not only covering the head.

While others where quick to point out that she's a football players and as such should not be celebrated for wearing such football outfit.

Nigeria had it first case later in February from an Italian man who was reportedly to have come back from a trip carrying the deadly virus.
